Craig Brown Craig Brown
I most recently worked at Studio Wildcard on ARK: Survival Evolved, but had to leave the studio when it moved its main base of operations to Seattle. As a result, I'm currently working on my own project in the indie space. I have a background in programming, so I excel at the technical side of design. I have a neural obsession with learning the rules of systems, which makes me quite the talented game balancer. My love of designing gameplay mechanics and ability to code combine to make me an incredibly skilled scripter. I love what I do, and it shows in my work.
I grew up with the great classics of the early console age: Mega Man, Mario, Sonic, Contra... too many to list them all. I was a console gamer until high school, when Counter-Strike and StarCraft showed me the magic of PC gaming. My favorite games right now are League of Legends and Dungeons and Dragons, but I play as many games as I can get my hands on... video, card, and board.
I'm lucky to be one of the few people who has always known what I want to do with my life. As I grew up, my parents encouraged my "geeky" hobbies by buying me fantasy novels, board games (such as Hasbro's Hero Quest), and video games (of course). These interests eventually lead me to Dungeons and Dragons, Magic: the Gathering, Warhammer 40k, and a number of other hobbies I still cultivate to this day. One of my Chaos Marine Terminators can be seen on this page.
Thank you for visiting my portfolio. Feel free to contact me any time!
